Fu – That’s me. And it’s so difficult sometimes to describe one’s
self. So I am going to tell you where I am in my life. Maybe,
if I fell motivated, I’ll tell you about how I got here, and who
knows where we all are going. Currently, I work at Cafe Pinot
(www.patinagroup.com/cafepinot). I enjoy good food, good wine
and good company, and feel fortunate to have an occupation where
I am surrounded by all. I play computer games to relax, primarily
Counterstrike, and recently Dungeon Siege 2. My idea of a perfect
day is hard rain, preferably with thunder, spent indoors, playing
Age of Mythology: The Titans Expansion with my wife, Susan on
the computer next to me, the dog and the cat curled up on the
couch and a Venti drip with 5 pumps of Peppermint and 4 raw sugars. |

Wen (Susan) Fu – My wife. A series of unlikely, and improbable
events brought her across the Pacific to me, and I feel so fortunate
that she decided to stay. She works primarily as a Graphic Designer
for Almax Wireless, a cellular accessories company (www.almaxwireless.com),
and spends her days unchallenged because she doesn’t have enough
work to do. A graduated Art major, and former Art teacher, she
is really too talented for the work she is doing, so she’s looking
for more work. Her perfect day? The rain, good food (either home
or out), watching the latest episode of the current Asian drama/Lost/Joey/CSI,
and finding the perfect cute purse for under $100 online. |

Yellowfur Troublemaker (A-Fo) – Our dog. Born July 9, 2004. The
first dog for both Susan and I, this Basset Hound is certainly
a handful and might possibly be the reason why we’ll never have
human children. She started out with the name, “Truffle” and soon
earned her middle and last name just after a few days in our house.
Her perfect day is waking up daddy 30 minutes before he’s ready
to get up, sitting shotgun on the way to Starbucks, taking a midmorning
nap on the couch, an evening walk with Susan around the neighborhood,
and finding a way to sniff Phoebe’s behind without her noticing. |

– My cat. It’s funny to see “My cat” because , most of the
time I feel like I’m her human. If she could talk, I’m pretty
sure that’s what she would say anyways. She’s a sweet tabby
that I’ve had since April of 2000. Her perfect day would be sleeping
20+ hours on the couch/ next to the computer monitor/ on top of
the family room tv / in an empty milk crate and then finding a
way to sneak out the sliding glass door at night |
